Guidance on Avoiding Event Scams

South West Business Expo, (SW Business Expo), a SWB Connections organised event, is organised by South West Business Connections Limited. SWB Connections is continually working to reduce the risk to our customers of fraudulent activity. As such, we want to draw your attention to a number of emails that we have become aware of that appear to be targeting our customers. These emails falsely purport to offer copies of our database of attendee contact details for South West Business Expo. SWB Connections is not in any way associated with the senders of these emails and does not engage in the sale or trade of any of its customer lists whether exhibitor, sponsor or attendee. 

We are taking all available steps to investigate and minimise these spurious emails, but it is difficult to eliminate this risk entirely as the emails come from numerous sources and, often, cannot be traced.
